Once the ProxCard has been used, if it is presented to the lock without first presenting Function Card 8, the lock will not unlock, six beeps will sound and a combination of red and green LEDs will flash, followed by four additional red LED flashes. To re-activate the One-Time-Only ProxCard, follow the instructions in the first paragraph.
VISUAL AND AUDIBLE FEEDBACK
The PL3000 Prox Lock provides visual and audible feedback when a ProxCard is presented. Chart 1 indicates the LED and sound responses for the following:
We recommend programming the Prox Lock and the ProxCards before the actual installation. This way you can provide the programmed cards to the end-user.
The Alarm Lock PL3000 Prox Lock is powered by five AA alkaline batteries. According to Alarm Lock, the typical life expectancy is 60,000 cycles. When low battery condition occurs, the LED will illuminate yellow and four-second beep will sound when a valid ProxCard is presented. These are the signals to replace the batteries in the battery pack.
The Alarm Lock Trilogy PL3000 is available with lever handles or knobs in four standard finishes. Custom finishes are available; consult the factory for more information.
