Schlage Keypad Deadbolt: Key or Keyless Operation

Schlage’s BE365 Keypad Deadbolt with Turn-Lock Feature can be used with or without a key.


Should the battery drain beyond being able to operate the lock, the Schlage BE365 Keypad Deadbolt is equipped with mechanical key override. A five-pin solid brass C-keyway lock cylinder is located in the center of the exterior thumbturn. The lock cylinder can be rekeyed to existing Schlage five-pin tumbler locks. Schlage’s supplemental Keypad Lock Re-Keying Kit, part number 38-030, contains special components used by the Keypad Deadbolt. Pin tumblers are not included.

The BE365 Keypad Deadbolt is available in two styles, the Plymouth or the Camelot. Nine finishes are available, including the Ultima™ Bright Brass (505) and Antique Brass(609), Bright Chrome (625), Satin Chrome (626), Oil-Rubbed Bronze (613), Aged Bronze (716), satin Nickel (619), Antique Pewter (620) and Black Matte (available April 2007).

The Schlage BE365 Keypad Deadbolt has a lifetime limited mechanical and finish warranty, as well as a one-year electronics warranty.
