New Automotive Key Blanks Bring Versatility

The key blanks are designed for “world” and domestic vehicles from manufacturers including Acura, Chrysler, Ford, General Motor, Honda, Mitsubishi and Toyota. STRATTEC key blank 5907552 is designed for the Acura 2004-07 TL and the 2004-07 TSX. Both of these vehicles use the 5001-8442 code series. The Acura “V ” Key has the letter “V” stamped into blade. This transponder chip key blank is not interchangeable with previous model vehicles. STRATTEC key blank 5907553 is designed for Honda vehicles using the K001-N718 code series. This four-track lock mechanism requires a high security key machine. The Honda “V ” Key has the letter “V” stamped into blade. STRATTEC key blank 692812 is designated for the 2008 Mercury Sable. The Sable key blank incorporates an encrypted chip into this four-button Integrated Key Transponder (IKT) with the Mercury logo on the rear of the key.

STRATTEC key blank 692814 is designated for the 2008 Ford Taurus X. The Taurus X key blank incorporates an encrypted chip into this four-button Integrated Key Transponder (IKT) with the Ford logo on the rear of the key.

STRATTEC key blank 5910762 is designated for the 2008 Mazda Tribute. The Tribute key blank incorporates an encrypted chip into this four-button Integrated Key Transponder (IKT) with the Mazda logo on the rear of the key.

STRATTEC key blank 5902386 is designated for the 2004+ Pontiac Grand Prix. This Pontiac logo key blank contains a read-only transponder.

For the 2008 model year, Chrysler introduced the Pod Key, an alternative (or emergency key) for vehicles equipped with the “Smart Key.” The STRATTEC 5909874 Pod key has a mechanical blade used to unlock the driver’s door on many models in order to gain access if the battery is dead or the electronics are not functioning. The bow of the Pod key is shaped to accommodate the ignition receptacle. When the bow is inserted into the ignition, the key and the ignition system communicate to permit the engine to be started and the vehicle driven when using a properly programmed Pod key. This key is available on 2008 Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Caravan, Jeep Commander, Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Magnum vehicles.

STRATTEC has introduced the generic circle + transponder- equipped 93 groove key blank 5903089. This GM logo key blank can be used on all Chevrolet, GMC, Pontiac, Buick, Saturn, Cadillac and Hummer vehicles through 2008 that use the Circle + technology.

Another new STRATTEC Circle Plus technology key blank is part number 5904001. This Cadillac logo Circle + key blank can be used on the 2008 CTS, 2006-08 DTS, 2004-08 STS and the 2007-08 Escalade/ESV/EXT.
