IR Security Technologies Names Director, Government Vertical Market

Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies announces that Dan Kilgore will be responsible for leading the company's government (federal, military, aviation, state and local) vertical market development activities, responsible for developing market growth strategies and driving execution of these strategies in the government space. Kilgore will be the principal point of contact internally and externally for the government vertical, working closely with the government and field sales teams.

"The government market has a great demand for the products and services that Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies provides," reports Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies VP, Marketing Rajesh Venkat. "However, it has many idiosyncrasies, ranging from pricing to standards to procedures, which are very different from the private sector. We're looking forward to having Dan help our government customers and their integrators smooth out the sales cycle for obtaining the solutions government agencies need to keep them and the public safe and secure."

Kilgore has spent 25 years in government market business development, sales and marketing, promoting security systems services and building controls. He joins Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies from Johnson Controls Inc.
