Tri-Ed / Northern Video announces its acquisition of Security Data & Cable HQ. SDC's two locations in Houston and Austin, Texas will now operate as Tri-Ed/Northern Video Distribution and the existing sales staff will continue to manage both branches.

Perlin most recently served as VP of Video Product Management for a leading industry manufacturer where he developed and directed their line of CCTV products.

OnSSI Enhances Sales Team

Joining the company are Trevor Newton as Western region manager and Steve Kingsbury as Mid-Atlantic region manager. Newton joins OnSSI with a background in systems engineering and more than 20 years of experience in the industry with companies such as VideoIQ and Lenel Systems.He will have sales responsibility for the States of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.
Prior to joining OnSSI, Kingsbury was a Principal at Perimetric Intelligence and previously held sales and management positions with Optellios, Fiber SenSys, Siemens and Honeywell. The Mid-Atlantic region comprises Michigan, Indiana, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky.
As national sales manager-channel partners, Anderson will use his industry knowledge and sales skills to help guide OnSSI forward by expanding markets and capitalizing on OnSSI's video management solutions.
