Altronix Expands NetWay PoE Series with 802.3bt Midspan/Injectors & Media Converters for High Powered Devices

April 7, 2020

Altronix has expanded its popular NetWay Series with the addition of 802.3bt 4PPoE Managed Midspan/Injectors and Media Converters. Designed specifically to accommodate high-powered 802.3bt compliant devices, the NetWay BT Series delivers up to 90 watts per port. New models are available in single-, four- or eight-port models and include battery charging as well as Altronix LINQ Technology to monitor, control and report power and diagnostics from anywhere over the network.

The NetWay Spectrum line of 802.3bt products are also available to accommodate single/multimode fiber or composite cable (copper + fiber) in NEMA4/4X-rated outdoor enclosures that can accommodate batteries for installations requiring backup.

“These new additions to our 802.3bt (4PPoE) compliant NetWay Series provide a cost-efficient solution for powering the latest high-power illuminators and multisensor PTZ cameras, as well as commercial PoE lighting,” says Alan Forman, president, Altronix Corp. “Our expanded NetWay and NetWay Spectrum portfolio provides system designers and installers with the best possible solution to meet a wide range of installation requirements.”

The Altronix NetWay BT Series provides Power over Ethernet (PoE), PoE+ and 4PPoE up to 90W (802.3bt compliant) power per port and pass data at 10/100/1000 megabits per second. Additional features include port status LEDs, auto detection and protection of legacy non-PoE cameras/devices, and a built-in battery charger.

Altronix NetWay products are manufactured in the USA and backed by a lifetime warranty.
