Hybrid Recorder

June 29, 2012

Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products Group is providing a cost-effective path to bridge the gap between analog to IP video recording with the new EHV embedded hybrid recorder. Ideal for surveillance systems running 16 cameras or less, the EHV offers the flexibility to record analog cameras at 480 fps as well as IP network cameras, so it reduces total cost-of-ownership. State-of-the-art H.264 video compression maximizes network bandwidth efficiency while providing the right level of integration with new and existing infrastructure investments. Advanced system capabilities enable the user to simultaneously record and remotely access live views and playback video recorded from up to 16 cameras. Toshiba mobile apps permits the remote access of video on Android devices, Apple iPhones and iPads, and Blackberry.
